Our family of 26 had a fabulous 2 week tour of Italy arranged by Fandango.  From the moment we landed in Venice — some in the morning, others delayed until 1am, we were met by our cheerful host and ushered to our beautiful hotel, right on the Grand Canal.  It was magical, and our 15 grandchildren, ranging in age from 8 to 24, were enchanted.

 

Anna and Sabrina provided a customized tour with activities guaranteed to meet our varying needs.  Cooking classes where we made pizza, gelato, pasta, tiramisu were a hit.  Professional mask-making in Venice was way above expectations.  We had fabulous local tour guides to cities and museums — the Uffizi and the Academia in Florence, the Colosseum and Roman Forum and Vatican Museum, Pompeii — they kept everyone interested with history and stories the children could relate to.

 

There was leisure time for shopping or separate meals, always with helpful suggestions as requested.

 

And a wonderful last day on a private boat to Capri, capped by a most memorable dinner in Sorrento.

 

Fandango Tours made sure that we had a concierge with us from our first day to our grand finale.  Giulia, our tour facilitator, was helpful 24 hours a day for the entire two weeks.  She made sure everything went smoothly, coordinating transportation and local guides, answering every question with grace.  All 26 of us fell in love with her.
