DAY 1 - Welcome to style and elegance
After your arrival at Malpensa Airport, one of our collaborator will meet and greet you there, accompanying you to your private car for a short transfer to Como. Check in at the beautiful hotel, the remainder of the day will be yours to relax and rest.
DAY 2 - Bellagio and Villa Melzi
On our first day we meet our charming guide for an orientation tour of Bellagio and a visit to the beautiful Villa Melzi (4 hrs). Bellagio, also known as the “pearl” of Lake Como for its position at the top of the promontory that separates the two south branches of Lake Como, offers magnificent views of the lake. Walking tour to the Punta Spartivento and visit of the historical center of the village.
Lunch on your own at the end of the tour.
Afternoon at leisure: shopping in the shops and boutiques along the village “salite” (steep narrow roads crisscrossing the village).
DAY 3 - To San Martino
Today meet your guide and cross the lake with the public ferry to Cadenabbia. Here you'll start walking up to the church of San Martino. The trail is easy and take about 2 hrs and 30 min up and down. The scenery is jaw-dropping at every curve! Back to Bellagio with the public ferry. Lunch on your own and afternoon at leisure.
DAY - 4 Lake Tour
Meet your guide at the dock and embark on your private boat for a pleasant lake tour on the western ''leg'' of the lake Como. From the boat you'll be able to admire the villas and the parks of Menaggio, Cernobbio and Moltrasio: Villa Erba, Villa D'Este, Villa Carlotta, Villa Pizzo, Villa Versace; along with the charming sun-kissed villages dotting the lakeshores. You will stop at the awesome Villa Balbianello, an important artistic heritage and made famous by many films (above all Star Wars II and 007 Casino Royal) for a visit of the villa and the gardens. Back on the boat and you'll reach the island of Comacina for lunch. This is truly an experience! After lunch a visit of the island and its park, then hop on the public ferry to reach back Bellagio. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 5 - From Bellano to Varenna
Meet your guide and hop on the public ferry to reach Bellano where your walk will start today. This walk is a short, but attractive part of a multi-day excursion route named ''the Wayfarer path''. It runs from Bellano to Varenna along a thin mule track that winds along the side of the mountain among chestnut woods and mild cultivated slopes. In a few hours time, it collects the best of the landscape characters in the eastern ''leg'' of the lake: majestic landscapes, botanical and geological peculiarities, tokens of faith, places of the popular imagination, scraps of fields, rustic houses, vineyards and olive groves which create a frame that has been sung by poets and writers at length and for a long time. Varenna is our destination: a tiny charming village that embraces the beauty of this part of Italy. Lunch is on your own. Back to Bellagio with the ferry. Rest of the day is at leisure.
DAY 6 - From Brunate to Como
This morning meet the guide and hop on the ferry and reach Como. From here we take the mountain lift and reach the peak of Brunate, where you'll walk down to Como along a panoramic view. Once you reach Como, lunch will be served in a nice restaurant ''pied dans l'eau''. After lunch a guided tour of the city of Como: you'll visit the magnificent Duomo and then walk the cobbled street of the historic center. The guide will show you the rich historic heritage and the buildings built in the architectural style of Rationalism. In the late afternoon hop back on the ferry to get back to Bellagio. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 7 - Free day
Today is on your own to shop, walk on your own or simply relax!
DAY 8 - Arrivederci!
Breakfast at the hotel. According with your flight time, transfer to Airport can be scheduled for you. Arrivederci!
